Drag Times Explained
Scheduling one-on-one meetings with external contacts can sometimes be a daunting task, especially when it involves a lot of back-and-forth emails. However, the "Drag Times" feature in Motion is designed to simplify this process and make scheduling effortless.
- 1.Open Motion and navigate to the "Booking" tab.
- 2.Click on "Drag Times" to access this unique feature.
- 3.Select the available times that work best for you.
- 4.Drag and drop the selected times onto the calendar.
- 5.Copy the selected times to your clipboard.
- 6.Paste and send the options to your meeting attendee through a message or email.
Consider you're a project manager and you receive an email from a client requesting a meeting to discuss the project timeline. Instead of emailing back and forth to finalize a meeting time, you can use the "Drag Times" feature in Motion to streamline this process.
You open Motion, navigate to the "Booking" tab, and click on "Drag Times". You then select the times you're available on your preferred day (say, Friday between 2 pm - 4 pm) by clicking and highlighting the desired time slots. You drag these time slots onto your calendar, visibly marking your availability.
After copying these selected times, you send them in a response email to your client. The client can then easily choose a time that works best for them from the options you've provided. This reduces the amount of back-and-forth communication, saves time, and makes scheduling far more efficient.
Drag Times offers a more personalized approach to scheduling, focusing on one-on-one meetings, and allowing you to provide specific time options based on your availability.
In contrast, traditional booking links, which are usually embedded on websites or included in email signatures, display your general availability and allow anyone to book a time slot from your publicly available schedule.
The beauty of Drag Times is its ability to streamline the scheduling process for one-on-one meetings without disclosing your entire schedule. This enhances privacy and offers a customized experience for both you and the meeting attendee.
By using the Drag Times feature, you can revolutionize your scheduling experience, reduce coordination hassles, and make your meetings more productive.
