How to Cancel Your Motion Subscription

We understand that sometimes things change, and you may need to cancel your Motion subscription. Here's a simple guide to help you through the process:

Canceling Your Subscription

If you have access to your Motion account:

  1. Visit your Motion account at app.usemotion.com on a desktop or laptop computer.

  2. Click the profile icon/email address at the top, and then click the red “Cancel Plan” button.

  3. Enter a cancellation reason, such as “My work won’t let me use Motion,” and click ‘Cancel on Next Page.’ This will take you to a Stripe-hosted subscription page.

  4. Finally, click ‘Cancel Plan’ on this page.

If you no longer have access to your Motion account:

  1. Go to your account billing page at usemotion.com/account on a desktop/laptop computer.

  2. Click “Billing.”

  3. Select “Individual subscribers: Change payment method, cancel the subscription, view invoices.” This will take you to a Stripe-hosted subscription page.

  4. Click ‘Cancel plan’ on this page.

These, above, instructions are for individual users only.

If you are a Team Admin:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️.

  2. Click on "Team."

  3. Go to the "Billing" tab.

  4. Click "Manage plan."

  5. Click "Cancel plan."

  6. Enter a cancellation reason to proceed with the request.

Refunds

Please be aware that canceling your subscription does not trigger a refund. If you cancel before the end of your trial period, you will not be charged.
