While we would hate to see you go, canceling your Motion subscription is a user-friendly process. Whether you subscribed directly through Motion or through an in-app purchase (IAP) on a mobile device, this article will guide you through the process of how to cancel your plan.
Log in to your Motion Account: Visit app.usemotion.com on a desktop or laptop computer.
Go to your settings by clicking on the gear (⚙️) icon in the top left-hand corner.
Click “Manage Plan” then choose ‘Cancel Plan’.
Select ‘Continue’.
Enter a cancellation reason (e.g., "My work won’t let me use Motion") and proceed by clicking “Continue”.
Confirm Cancelation: Click “Cancel Subscription” to finalize.
Log in to Your Admin Account: by visiting app.usemotion.com.
Go to Settings: by clicking on the gear (⚙️) icon in the top left-hand corner.
Access Team Billing: select “Billing.”
Manage Your Plan: click “Manage Plan.”
Initiate Cancelation: click “Cancel Plan” and provide a reason to complete the process.
Note: If you are a team member (non-team-admin) and wish to switch to an individual plan, contact our support team for assistance.
To visit the ‘Account Billing’ navigate to usemotion.com/account on a desktop or laptop.
Select “Billing”.
Choose the option titled: “Individual subscribers: change payment method, cancel the subscription, view invoices.”
On the subscription page, select the option to “Cancel Plan.”
If you subscribed to Motion via Apple In-App Purchase, follow these steps:
Navigate to your iPhone settings.
Tap your name at the top to open your Apple ID menu.
Select “Subscriptions.”
Tap on ‘Motion’ in your list of active subscriptions.
Tap “Cancel Subscription” and follow the prompts to confirm your cancelation

Refund Policy: Canceling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. You may cancel your User Account or any Subscription at your sole discretion.
Purchases are non-refundable; Motion is not obligated to refund any payments, but may do so at its sole discretion.
Reactivation: If you’ve canceled but wish to return:
Login using your email address with your previous Motion subscription
Click “Subscribe with <your email address>.
Alternatively, you can resubscribe using a different email address.
(Reminder: new email address = new account = no data from previous account)
