Motion offers its services in three plans: Individual ($19/month when billed annually), Team ($12/user/month when billed annually), and Enterprise (custom pricing).
Each plan unlocks different capabilities based on whether you're flying solo or working with a team. In this article, we will compare and discuss the three plans Motion offers. Let’s dive in!
Motion isn't like other tools where you're just paying for more storage or a few extra features. Each plan is specified for your specific productivity needs.

This is for when you're running your own show. You’ll have access to all of Motions project management and productivity tools perfect for your independent venture. Whether you are a freelancer, consultant, beginning that new side-hustle, or simply managing your own schedule; this is the plan for you.
What’s included in the individual plan:
Motion’s AI-powered auto-scheduling assistant.
Full array of project management capabilities.
Customized workflow optimization.
Enhanced scheduling and time tracking features.
Here's where it gets interesting. The Team plan isn't just the Individual plan with some sharing thrown in - it's built differently from the ground up for collaboration.
How Team Plan pricing works: We use "buckets" for team sizes (3, 5, 10 people etc.). You pick the bucket that fits your team. Need 4 people? Get the 5-person bucket. Need 6? Go for the 10-person bucket. We keep it simple - no custom sizes, just pick the bucket size that fits your business needs.

Shared workspaces for enhanced collaboration.
Streamlined team management.
Simplified billing: one bill for the entire team.
This is our "everything and then some" plan. If you're running a large organization or need specific customizations, this is the plan for you.
What makes it different:
Custom onboarding with a dedicated expert ($10,000 value).
Your own personal Motion customer success manager.
Custom integrations built for your productivity needs.
Top-of-the-line security features.
Advanced admin controls.
Changing plans is straightforward:
Navigate to your Settings (⚙️) → Select ‘Team’ → Then Select ‘Create Team’.
Business Standard (under 10 users)
Business Pro (10+ users)
Monthly billing or Annual billing (40% savings).
Navigate to your Settings (⚙️) → select 'Billing' → select “Switch to annual billing”.
The following are accepted payment methods:
Credit cards
Debit cards
Apple Pay (use Safari)
Google Pay (use Chrome)
Please Note: No prepaid cards accepted at this time (CashApp, Pre-paid Visa, etc.)
Need to update your card? Settings → Account → Billing → Change payment method.
This is a temporary charge to verify your payment method. You can expect to have this charge returned to your payment method in 2-3 business days.
This will depend on your location and state laws.
If you've been away and want to restart:
Log in to your old account.
Pick your plan.
Choose monthly or annual.
Update payment info.
