Managing projects and tasks just got easier with this step-by-step guide. Learn how to relocate tasks and projects to stay organized and efficient.
Projects Tab:
Navigate to the “Projects” tab.
Identify the task you want to move and the space it’s currently located.
Go to the space.
Open the task.
Click on the task location (Space > Project Name) at the top of the task modal.
Select a space and project (if any) from the list.
Click on “Move Task” to confirm.
Your task is now moved to the new location.
Calendar Tab:
You can relocate a task directly from the Calendar tab; however, this functionality is restricted to tasks assigned specifically to you. Here’s how:
Open the task.
Click on the task location (Space > Project Name) at the top of the task modal.
Select a space and project (if any) from the dropdown.
Click “Move Task” to confirm.
The process of moving projects is very similar to moving tasks:
Go to the “Projects” tab.
Identify the project you wish to relocate and note its current space.
In the left sidebar, hover over the project name and then click the 3-dot button that appears.
Select “Project info.”
Click on the space name at the top of the project modal.
Choose the new space from the list.
Click on “Move project.”
Your project has now been moved to new location.
Imagine an engineering team working on a new product development project in Space A. As the project progresses, they realize that some tasks related to market research and customer feedback analysis would be better suited in Workspace B, which is dedicated to user research and analysis.
By moving these specific tasks from Space A to Space B, the engineering team can seamlessly collaborate with the user research team and leverage their expertise in gathering insights from potential customers.
